Wacky Weekend Weather – Sunday, October 3rd, 2013 0100 Eastern

If one lives in North Carolina the weather should be quiet for the next few days.   It will also be cooler over the next few nights before a gradual warming that pushes temperatures into the low 70s by Thursday.    By Thursday another system eases in and gives us a much better chance for rain.

These are the frontal locations as of Tuesday,  as you can see there is another major storm system entering the upper Northwest and High Pressure still existent over the Eastern United States.

By Wednesday another major storm complex is slated over the Alaska coastal region.  In the middle of the country there will be a near stationary front that will produce rains across parts of the Mississippi Valley.

By Thursday High Pressure moves into the Central US and the stationary front continues to push eastward as the high off the east coast moves off the coast.

Ideally the front will be off the eastern coast and with it the rain.
